Overview
- The roughly three-kilometre circular trail near Mirow was officially opened on 27 September by Wustrow mayor Steffen Franz together with operators of the adjacent FKK campsite.
- The path is open to both clothed and unclothed walkers, with users advised they may encounter nude hikers.
- The initiative came from the FKK-Campingplatz am Rätzsee to offer a designated, non-judgmental space for naturists.
- Campsite owner Martin Löser called naked hiking an established practice that has become “a kind of trend sport.”
- Only two other dedicated nudist hiking routes are cited in Germany, located in the Lüneburger Heide and the Harz.
