Measles Hits 30-Year High in US as Canadian Outbreaks Persist

Health officials have imposed tighter reporting protocols, visitor limits and exposure alerts to curb flaring outbreaks from Michigan to Nova Scotia

The new Calgary Cancer Centre, the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in Lethbridge are amongst a number of health care facilities in Alberta where new restrictions on visitors are being put in place to help control the spread of measles.
Nova Scotia Public Health confirmed 30 total cases of measles in the Northern Zone on Thursday.
