Overview
- At 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, MDOT moved all westbound traffic between I-75 and Telegraph onto the newly rebuilt eastbound lanes to launch the next phase.
- Entrance and exit ramps at Couzens, Bermuda/Hilton, Coolidge, Greenfield, and Evergreen are closed through late 2026 with signed detours in place.
- Access remains available at I-75, Woodward Avenue, Southfield Road, Telegraph Road/M-10 (Lodge), and Lahser Road during this stage.
- MDOT urges drivers to plan alternate routes and allow extra time, and Michigan State Police advise slowing down and paying attention to reduce preventable crashes.
- The shift is affecting roughly 100,000 Oakland County drivers, with early backups reported near Ryan Road, and additional drainage and bridge work is planned in 2027 between I-75 and Dequindre.
