MCU's Ms. Marvel Actor Iman Vellani To Co-Write New Comic Book Exploring Character's Mutant Identity

Iman Vellani, star of the Ms. Marvel Disney+ series, will co-write a new four issue Ms. Marvel comic titled "Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant."
The comic will feature Kamala Khan coming back to life after dying and going on an X-Men mission, introducing her as a mutant in addition to being Inhuman.
Vellani's comic will explore Kamala's struggle to accept her new mutant label and dual Inhuman/mutant identity.
The comic will give Kamala a redesigned yellow and blue costume noddding to her X-Men connections.
Vellani is excited to contribute to the Marvel canon as both an actor and now a comic writer.
