• Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone won the 400m in 47.78, the second-fastest time ever, with Marileidy Paulino at 47.98 and Salwa Eid Naser at 48.19 completing the podium.
• Noah Lyles captured a fourth straight world 200m title in 19.52, finishing ahead of Kenny Bednarek at 19.58 and Jamaica’s Bryan Levell at 19.64.
• Melissa Jefferson-Wooden took the women’s 200m in 21.68 to complete a 100m–200m double, with Britain’s Amy Hunt second in 22.14 and Shericka Jackson third in 22.18.
