McLaren Unveils One-Off 750S Spider ‘Project Viva’ in Las Vegas

MSO uses the commission to spotlight hand-painted craft through bespoke finishes with driver involvement.

Overview

  • The art car was revealed on November 13 and is on display at the McLaren Experience Center at Wynn Las Vegas through November 20 during Grand Prix week.
  • Created by McLaren Special Operations, the one-of-one 750S features bespoke paints including Muriwai White and a new deep black developed for this commission with cyan, magenta and green flecks.
  • Hand-painted motifs weave Las Vegas and McLaren heritage, including dice marking 1905 and 1963, ten constructors’ stars, Bruce McLaren’s Muriwai Trophy and helmet, Nevada’s outline and neon-inspired signage.
  • F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri contributed hand-applied details and signatures, applying stars on the rear bumper as part of the design.
  • The car remains mechanically identical to a standard 750S Spider, was commissioned by a North American customer who plans to drive it, and its price was not disclosed as reporting estimates exceed $1 million.
