Overview
- Project Viva was revealed November 13 ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix and is on display at the McLaren Experience Center inside Wynn Las Vegas through November 20.
- The bespoke finish pairs Muriwai White accents with a newly developed Vegas Nights paint that appears black from a distance but reveals cyan, magenta, and green flecks under light.
- MSO’s hand-painted Sketch in Motion treatment layers references to Las Vegas and McLaren heritage, including city landmarks, dice with 1905 and 1963, Nevada’s outline, and silhouettes of ten championship cars.
- F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri added hand-applied details, placing ten stars on the rear bumper and leaving signed messages on the interior sills.
- Commissioned by a North American customer, the car retains standard 750S Spider mechanicals with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, and McLaren says it will be used on the road rather than kept as static art.
