McDonald’s UK Sets Sept. 10 Menu Refresh to Launch With Monopoly Promotion

The update pairs new and returning items with an app-driven Monopoly rollout featuring QR codes in a refreshed digital experience.

Overview

  • The refresh adds two new items, the Loaded Caramel McFlurry and Honeycomb Latte, alongside returning favourites Philly Cheese Stack, Chicken Big Mac and Mozzarella Dippers.
  • Monopoly returns on Sept. 10 with game stickers on selected packaging that are scanned in the McDonald’s app, which introduces a Special Edition World in place of Digital Peel.
  • The prize pool includes top £100,000 cash prizes plus partner-backed rewards from Jet2holidays, Merlin, TrainPal, Currys and Virgin Experience Days.
  • The Breakfast Wrap and all regular or large McCafé hot drinks join the promotional lineup for the first time, expanding the range of eligible items for game stickers.
  • A number of current items will be withdrawn to make space, with reports naming Sprite Zero with syrup, Jaffa Cakes McFlurry, Chilli Cheese Bites, Steakhouse Stack, Big Tasty, Spicy Chicken McNuggets, the Big Arch and Milky Way McFlurry.
