McDonald's Revives McNugget Buddies in Collaboration with Artist Kerwin Frost

The nostalgic Happy Meal toys return after 25 years, redesigned to reflect Frost's Harlem upbringing and available in a special meal box from Dec. 11.

• McDonald's is bringing back the McNugget Buddies, nostalgic Happy Meal collectibles, after more than 25 years.
• The new McNugget Buddy collectibles are designed in partnership with New York City-based artist Kerwin Frost, inspired by his childhood in Harlem.
• Starting Dec. 11, six different McNugget Buddy collectibles will be available at McDonald’s nationwide.
• The Kerwin Frost Box, which includes a McNugget Buddy, fries, a soft drink and a choice of 10-piece McNuggets or a Big Mac, will also be launched.
• Merchandise from the McDonald's and Kerwin Frost partnership, including apparel and footwear, will be available online starting Dec. 11, with a portion of the proceeds going to Harlem Arts Alliance.
