McDonald’s Celebrates Egg McMuffin’s 50th Anniversary With $1 Deal

The fast-food chain is offering $1 Egg McMuffins for one day only and expanding its breakfast menu nationwide.

McDonald’s will sell Egg McMuffins and Sausage McMuffins with Egg for $1 on Sunday, March 2, in honor of National Egg McMuffin Day.
The promotion marks the 50th anniversary of the Egg McMuffin, first introduced in 1975 by McDonald’s franchisee Herb Peterson.
Bagel sandwiches, including Bacon, Egg & Cheese and Steak, Egg & Cheese, are now available nationwide for the first time.
McDonald’s is also offering a buy-one-get-one-free Sausage McMuffin with Egg deal for delivery app orders from March 3 to March 30.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts, currently available in select cities, are set to expand to McDonald’s locations nationwide by the end of 2026.
