McCartney Enlists AI to Craft Final Beatles Release Featuring Lennon's Vocals

Paul McCartney used AI technology to extract John Lennon's vocals from a 1978 demo for inclusion on a new Beatles release due out this year.
The song is speculated to be "Now and Then," which Lennon composed and recorded shortly before his death.
The AI technology was originally developed to isolate and enhance the Beatles' individual vocals and instruments for director Peter Jackson's documentary "The Beatles: Get Back."
McCartney says the technology is "scary" but helped him achieve his long-held goal of finishing the Lennon demo.
The new release will be the first "new" Beatles song to feature Lennon's vocals since "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love" in the mid-1990s.
