MCC Unveils NEET UG Counselling Schedule as MDS Round 2 Registration Opens

All NEET admissions counselling steps from registration to seat allotment will be handled online via the MCC portal

Overview

  • The MCC has officially released the NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule, opening Round 1 registration from July 21 to July 28 and announcing the first seat allotment on July 31.
  • Counselling for NEET UG will run across four main rounds followed by a stray vacancy round, covering 15% All India Quota seats and 100% institutional quotas at AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU and ESIC.
  • NEET MDS Counselling 2025 Round 2 registration is underway from July 12 to July 15, with choice filling scheduled for July 13–16 and the seat allotment result due on July 18.
  • Candidates registering for NEET MDS Round 2 must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 for General/EWS or ₹500 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD, along with refundable security deposits of ₹25,000 or ₹10,000 respectively.
  • A total of 12,36,531 candidates qualified NEET UG 2025 out of 22,09,318 examinees and are now eligible to complete all online counselling steps before reporting to allotted medical colleges.
