MCC Releases NEET UG Round 2 Allotment; Reporting Starts September 18

State timetable changes alongside seat additions reshape choices ahead of later rounds.

Overview

  • The MCC published the provisional Round 2 result on September 17 and will accept discrepancy emails at mccresultquery@gmail.com until 10:00 am on September 18, after which it will be treated as final.
  • Candidates allotted seats must report and complete joining between September 18 and 25, with institutes verifying joined candidates on September 26–27.
  • Round 3 registration and choice filling open on September 29, with subsequent data verification and a stray-vacancy round scheduled in October, per the official notice.
  • States updated their Round 2 plans: Bihar revised its schedule after adding 200 MBBS/BDS seats; UP set September 18 as the last date to apply with the merit list on September 19; Maharashtra’s CAP Round 2 lists seat matrix on September 19, preferences September 20–22, selection list September 24, and joining September 25–29.
  • Seat matrices have expanded in specific institutions, including ESIC Medical College, Hyderabad (+9), and Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi (+158 deemed/paid and +30 NRI), while AYUSH Round 2 registration opened September 17 with choice filling from September 18–22.
