MCC Pushes NEET PG Round 1 Result to Nov. 22 After Seat Matrix Overhaul

The changes stem from NMC-sanctioned Deemed University seats plus an NBE directive withdrawing DNB positions.

Overview

  • MCC revised the Round 1 seat matrix by adding 239 PG seats in Deemed Universities and removing 235 DNB seats on NBE’s communication.
  • The committee kept the AIQ MD/MS roster unchanged while recalculating rosters for government DNB institutes.
  • Choice filling was kept open under the updated matrix, with the revised window running through November 21 at 12 pm, and candidates were allowed to edit or add preferences.
  • The Round 1 seat-allotment result will now be published on November 22 on mcc.nic.in, followed by reporting from November 23 to December 1.
  • MCC stated that remaining NMC-sanctioned MD/MS and Deemed University seats will be incorporated in Round 2, and the PG academic session starts on December 22, 2025.
