MCC Extends NEET UG Round‑1 Resignation Deadline to September 3

The extension allows withdrawals without forfeiting security deposits during the Round‑2 postponement.

Overview

  • The resignation facility is now available until 5:00 pm on September 3, 2025, according to the official notice.
  • Candidates who have already reported can still surrender their Round‑1 seats without losing the security deposit.
  • Colleges must generate the resignation letter online via the MCC portal or the resignation will be treated as null and void.
  • Those with a seat confirmation letter must report to their allotted college to resign, while candidates without confirmation are treated as free exit.
  • Round‑2 counselling has been postponed, and the PwD portal for Round‑2 remains open until 12:00 noon on September 9 with additional disability centres onboarded under NMC guidelines.
