- Marcia Davies will retire as Mortgage Bankers Association chief operating officer on Dec. 31, 2025 after joining the organization in 2011 and becoming COO in 2014.
- Peter Grace was elevated to chief administrative officer with oversight of strategy, operations, IT, finance, legal, human resources and the MBA Opens Doors Foundation, while continuing to lead education and industry technology and serving as MBA’s MISMO board representative.
- Laura Hopkins was promoted to senior vice president of membership and meetings, taking charge of MBA conferences and meetings and assuming leadership of mPower.
- John Mechem became senior vice president of public affairs and marketing, leading external messaging across public affairs, media relations, marketing, digital engagement, publications and brand management.
- MBA President and CEO Bob Broeksmit credited Davies with restoring the association’s financial stability and cited mPower’s growth to more than 26,000 members as a core part of her legacy.
