Mazda 6e Electric Sedan Announced for European Market

- Mazda has introduced the 6e, an all-electric successor to the Mazda 6 sedan, set to launch in Europe this summer.
- The 6e will be available in two configurations: a Standard Range model with a 68.8 kWh battery offering 297 miles of WLTP range and a Long Range version with an 80 kWh battery providing 343 miles of range.
- The EV features rear-wheel drive, a 50:50 weight distribution, and advanced safety systems, including nine airbags and i-Activesense ADAS technology.
- Interior highlights include a 50-inch virtual head-up display, a 14.6-inch touchscreen, and options for premium materials like Nappa leather and a panoramic glass roof.
- Pricing is expected to start at around €45,000, with the vehicle being manufactured in China and subject to EU tariffs on Chinese EV imports.
