New housing initiatives, expanded arts access for students, and green policies among key announcements.

  • The mayor outlined a new program to ban fossil fuels in new city-owned buildings, aiming to make Boston “the greenest city in America.”
  • Wu highlighted the city's efforts to combat the opioid and homelessness crises, noting improvements at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, the epicenter of the city’s opioid and homelessness crises.
