Max Unveils Spooky October Lineup with 'Salem's Lot' Premiere

The long-awaited adaptation of Stephen King's classic vampire novel leads a month of new releases on the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming service.

Max will debut the new adaptation of Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot' on October 3, directed by Gary Dauberman.
The streaming service is adding a variety of horror films on October 1, including 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' series and 'It: Chapter Two'.
Other notable October releases include A24's 'XXXine' on October 18 and M. Night Shyamalan's 'Trap' on October 25.
New original series 'The Franchise', a satire about making a superhero movie, will premiere on October 6.
The third season of the comedy-drama 'Somebody Somewhere' and a new Seth Meyers comedy special are also set to debut this month.
