Max Cancels 'Pretty Little Liars' Reboot After Two Seasons

The horror-themed revival of the popular series will not return for a third season, despite a cliffhanger ending in June.

The 'Pretty Little Liars' reboot, titled 'PLL: Original Sin' and 'PLL: Summer School,' premiered on Max in July 2022.
The series was canceled three months after its second season concluded with an unresolved cliffhanger.
Max expressed gratitude to co-creators Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, along with the cast and crew, for their creative vision.
The show featured a new group of liars dealing with a series of horror-themed mysteries in the town of Millwood.
Despite its cancellation, both seasons of the reboot remain available for streaming on Max.
