Maury Povich, the famous talk show host known for his paternity test reveals, was invited by the Denver Zoo to announce the father of a baby orangutan named Siska.
The potential fathers were Berani, a 30-year-old orangutan, and Jaya, a 16-year-old orangutan brought to the zoo in 2019 to be Eirina's (Siska's mother) mate.
The zoo had to wait a few months after Siska's birth to collect a hair sample for DNA comparison, due to the need for mother and baby bonding time.
Povich made the announcement in his iconic style, revealing that Berani was the father.
The announcement was made on the same day Povich received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys.
