Maura Tierney Joins 'Law & Order' as New Lieutenant for Season 24

The Emmy-nominated actress steps into the role following Camryn Manheim's departure from the long-running series.

Tierney is known for her roles in 'ER' and 'The Affair,' for which she won a Golden Globe.
She replaces Camryn Manheim, who played Lieutenant Kate Dixon for three seasons.
The new season will premiere on October 3 on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
Tony Goldwyn, Reid Scott, and Mehcad Brooks are among the returning cast members.
