Overview
- Roma routed Fiorentina 4-0 on Monday with Donyell Malen scoring a hat-trick and Paulo Dybala providing three assists while Niccolò Pisilli added the fourth goal.
- Coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised Dybala’s form and stamina and said the squad still lacks numbers, signaling the club expects further signings this summer.
- Fiorentina’s near-€100 million summer overhaul failed to click in the opener, and Moise Kean is reported to be pushing for a move to Como that would force the Viola to find a replacement striker.
- Juventus remain unhappy with Kolo Muani’s start and have reopened talks for Alexander Sorloth as they seek a more conventional centre-forward profile.
- Early-season availability issues are rising: Torino’s Yildiz returned injured with a possibly serious foot problem that may need surgery, and clubs are using low-fee-plus-bonus deals to complete late-window moves.
