Mattel and Sony to Develop Live-Action View-Master Movie

Mattel is partnering with Sony Pictures and Escape Artists to create a live-action film based on the View-Master toy.
The View-Master, introduced in 1939, is known for its 3D image reels that have sparked imagination across generations.
Robbie Brenner, president of Mattel Films, highlights the storytelling possibilities and adventure themes the film will explore.
Escape Artists, also working on a Masters of the Universe film, will produce the View-Master movie with Todd Black leading the project.
While the film's creative team is not yet announced, it is described as a 'four-quadrant family adventure film.'
