Matt Reeves' Arkham Series to be Set in DC Universe
Director of 'Batman' to Produce Stories in Both His Bat-Verse and the New DCU
- Matt Reeves, director of 'The Batman', is producing an Arkham series set in the new DC Universe (DCU), according to DC Studios co-head James Gunn.
- The Arkham series was one of the first pitches bought when Gunn and Peter Safran came onboard at DC Studios.
- Reeves will be producing stories both within his 'The Batman' universe and within the DCU.
- The Batman - Part II is scheduled for release in late 2025 with a spinoff series, The Penguin, arriving in late 2024.
- Reeves' current plan for the Bat-Verse is a trilogy of Batman films alongside a couple of spinoffs.
