Masters of the Air Premieres on Apple TV+, Explores World War II

Masters of the Air, a war drama TV series, premiered on Apple TV+ on January 26, 2024. The series is brought to life by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, who were behind 2001’s Band of Brothers and 2010’s The Pacific.
The series follows the 100th Bomb Group, a B-17 Flying Fortress unit in the Eighth Air Force during World War II, known as the 'Bloody Hundredth' for their heavy combat losses.
Masters of the Air is the first TV series produced by Apple Studios in collaboration with Playtone and Amblin Television. It explores the same time period and locations of World War II as Band of Brothers.
The series is narrated by Major Harry Crosby, a real-life navigator in the 100th Bomb Group who dealt with severe air sickness that sometimes affected his navigation skills.
The first two episodes of Masters of the Air were released on January 26, 2024, and subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Apple TV+.
