  • The tree fell between 9th and 10th avenues near San Mateo Central Park around 3 p.m. on June 4, crushing at least two vehicles.
  • A white Volkswagen sedan and a Ford Ranger pickup truck were among the cars damaged beneath the tree’s branches.
