Massive Gas Platform Fire in Gulf of Mexico Leaves Several Missing and Six Injured

A fire broke out at Pemex's Nohoch-A offshore gas compression platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
Six workers were injured in the explosion and fire and several others remain missing.
Hundreds of workers were evacuated from the platform as the fire raged on.
Although oil production was not affected, the fire dealt another blow to Mexico's declining Cantarell oil field.
The state oil company has sent multiple ships to battle the blaze which could be seen from nearby platforms.
