Massive Cocaine Seizure in Gujarat Uncovers International Drug Network

Authorities seize over 1,300 kg of cocaine linked to a South American supply chain, with arrests spanning multiple states.

A joint operation by Delhi and Gujarat Police led to the seizure of 518 kg of cocaine worth ₹5,000 crore from a pharmaceutical company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
This bust is part of a larger crackdown that has resulted in the recovery of 1,289 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana, valued at over ₹13,000 crore.
Five individuals, including co-owners of the Ankleshwar-based company, were arrested, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to 12.
Investigations revealed the drugs were refined in Gujarat before being distributed to Delhi and potentially other parts of India.
The drug syndicate is suspected to have international links, with connections to handlers in the UK and operations directed from Dubai.
