Massive Carowinds Roller Coaster Temporarily Closed After Crack Discovered

Carowinds theme park in North Carolina shut down their popular Fury 325 roller coaster after inspectors found a crack in one of the ride's support beams.
Fury 325 is billed as the tallest, fastest and longest giga coaster in North America with a drop of 325 feet.
The roller coaster will remain closed until repairs have been made and inspections are completed to ensure guest safety.
The rest of the amusement and water park at Carowinds remained open while Fury 325 was shut down.
Videos of the cracked support beam have gone viral, raising concerns about the safety of thrill rides.
