Overview

• Police responded to a 911 call to a home on Elm Street in Raynham just after noon on August 8 and discovered Mark Henshaw, 35, and Marie Hunt, 37, shot dead on the second floor.
• Henshaw was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the head and Hunt with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
• Investigators noted the bedroom door was locked and found no signs of forced entry.
• Two young children who were inside the residence at the time were unharmed and are being cared for by authorities.
• Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn has referred the case to Massachusetts State Police and Raynham Police Department for forensic analysis and witness interviews and affirmed there is no ongoing threat.
