• Vincent Parr of Massachusetts died while rescuing his wife and child from the Swift River in New Hampshire.
• Parr jumped into the fast-moving river to help his family members who were stuck.
• Parr was able to get his wife and child safely to shore but then got caught in the current himself.
• Bystanders pulled Parr from the water and attempted CPR but he could not be revived.
• This is the third recent drowning incident in New Hampshire rivers.
