Massachusetts Man Charged After Fatal Thanksgiving Dispute with Elderly Roommate

Richard Lombardi, 65, allegedly shoved 80-year-old Frank Griswold during an argument over food preparation, resulting in Griswold's death from head and neck injuries.

The incident occurred in Marshfield, Massachusetts, during Thanksgiving preparations when Lombardi became upset with Griswold for being near the food and 'often sneezing.'
Lombardi admitted to shoving Griswold, claiming his feet got tangled, causing him to fall and hit his head on the floor.
Griswold was found unconscious in a pool of blood, suffering a fractured neck and head injuries, and later died at the hospital.
The two men were longtime friends and roommates for over 20 years, having met in the 1990s while working in finance.
Lombardi has pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter and assault and battery on a person over 60, with his next court appearance set for December 4.
