Maryland Woman Arrested for Vandalizing Federal Property During Anti-Netanyahu Protest

Isabella Giordano was caught on video spray-painting 'Gaza' on the Columbus Fountain and flagpoles in Columbus Circle.
The incident took place during a protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress.
Giordano was identified through tips received by U.S. Park Police and was arrested on Friday.
Protesters at the event also burned flags and interfered with law enforcement, leading to the revocation of their demonstration permit.
The National Park Service estimated the cost of cleaning and repairing the vandalized site at over $11,000.
