Maryland Secures Record Third Straight Bowl Win, Defeating Auburn 31-13

Billy Edwards Jr., stepping in for record-setting quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, led Maryland to a 31-13 victory over Auburn in the Music City Bowl.
Edwards, a redshirt sophomore, helped the Terps to a 21-0 lead after one quarter, completing 6 of 20 passes for 126 yards and also ran for a team-high 50 yards on 13 carries.
Maryland's victory marks a program-record third straight bowl win and back-to-back eight-win seasons.
This was the fourth consecutive bowl loss for Auburn, whose last bowl victory was a 63-14 rout of Purdue in the 2018 Music City Bowl.
Maryland's win was largely attributed to its aggressive start and forcing four turnovers, including a 44-yard pick-6 by Glendon Miller.
