Marvel Tokon Set for Global PS5 and PC Launch on August 6

The 4v4 tag-team fighter will ship as developers continue investigating PC performance problems and PlayStation Network account access issues.

Overview

  • The game goes live worldwide on Thursday, August 6 with a simultaneous release timed for 8 a.m. Pacific (11 a.m. Eastern, 4 p.m. UK time).
  • Marvel Tokon will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC with PS5 pre-load already live and PC pre-load scheduled to begin shortly before launch on Steam.
  • The launch roster includes 20 characters arranged into five themed teams of four and a core match rule that initially limits players to the first two characters until they trigger combos or lose a round to unlock the others.
  • Sony lists PS5 Pro Enhanced support using PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution plus DualSense haptics, 4K output, fast SSD load times and 3D audio while PC minimum and recommended specs require mid- to high‑range GPUs and Windows 11.
  • An open beta from July 24–26 exposed severe PC issues such as high CPU use, frame drops, stuttering and crashes and flagged mandatory PSN-account login concerns; Arc System Works posted troubleshooting tips, apologised and says it is investigating fixes that could affect early access and cross-region play.
