Marvel Teases Spider-Man and Human Torch MCU Team-Up

Fans can look forward to their first on-screen appearance together during the 2027 Avengers: Secret Wars finale.

Overview

Kevin Feige confirmed in July that Marvel is planning a team-up between Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Joseph Quinn’s Human Torch after regaining rights to both characters.
Joseph Quinn praised Holland as the best Spider-Man ever and said he would relish the opportunity to share the screen with him.
Both Spider-Man and Fantastic Four IPs now reside under Marvel Studios, clearing the way for live-action crossovers that were previously blocked by separate studio ownership.
Fantastic Four: First Steps, featuring Quinn as Johnny Storm, opens in U.S. theaters on July 25, 2025.
Marvel has slated the duo’s debut team-up for the climax of Avengers: Secret Wars, scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2027.
