Marvel Studios Drops Jonathan Majors as Kang, Considers Cillian Murphy for Doctor Doom

Despite Majors' dismissal, Marvel still plans to end the Multiverse Saga with a Kang Variant, while also increasing the role of mutants in the storyline.

Following the guilty verdict in a domestic abuse case against actor Jonathan Majors, Marvel Studios has dropped him from the role of Kang, the main villain of the Multiverse Saga.
Marvel Studios is reportedly considering introducing Doctor Doom as the new central villain for Phase 5 and 6, with actor Cillian Murphy being a top contender for the role.
Marvel is also working on several smaller story arcs within the Multiverse Saga, including storylines focusing on Kingpin, the legacy of Iron Man, the Young Avengers, and the supernatural corner of the MCU.
Despite Majors' dismissal, Marvel still plans to close out the Multiverse Saga with a Kang Variant as the final villain.
Marvel is reportedly planning to increase the role of mutants in the Multiverse Saga, potentially leading to a standalone Mutants series or an X-Men film before Secret Wars.
