- Advance bookings opened in India on Friday, September 11 for Avengers: Endgame: Encore, which returns to cinemas on September 25, 2026 in IMAX, Disney’s new Infinity Vision and other premium formats.
- Encore adds roughly four minutes of new footage, a fresh post-credits scene and a Doomsday preview, but the post-credits scene and exclusive Doomsday look will play only on IMAX and Infinity Vision-certified auditoriums.
- Marvel and directors Anthony and Joe Russo have framed Encore as a narrative bridge into Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to open on December 18, 2026, and called the reissue required viewing for following the next film’s story.
- Initial Infinity Vision-certified screens reported in India include PVR Sangam (Mumbai), PVR Promenade (Delhi) and Cinepolis Lake Mall (Kolkata), and Encore will be offered in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
