Marvel Cosmic Invasion Announced for Holiday 2025 Release

The retro-inspired beat-'em-up from Tribute Games and Dotemu will feature 15 Marvel heroes, innovative gameplay mechanics, and cross-platform multiplayer.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion was officially revealed during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct, showcasing its nostalgic 1990s arcade-style design and modern gameplay innovations.
The game’s roster includes 15 playable Marvel characters at launch, such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, Storm, and Nova, with potential for additional characters post-launch.
Players will utilize the new 'Cosmic Swap System,' allowing mid-fight character switching to create unique combos and team-up attacks.
The storyline centers on battling Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave across iconic Marvel locations, including New York City and the Negative Zone.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion will support local and online multiplayer for up to four players, with cross-platform play, and is now available for pre-order and wishlisting on Steam.
