Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Aiming for Holiday 2025 Release

The World War II-set action game featuring Black Panther and Captain America is being developed by Skydance New Media and helmed by Uncharted creator Amy Hennig.

Voice actor Khary Payton, who plays Black Panther in the game, suggested a potential release window around Christmas 2025 during an interview.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is set in Nazi-occupied Paris and follows Captain America and Azzuri, the Black Panther of the 1940s, forming an uneasy alliance to battle Hydra.
The game will feature four playable characters, including Captain America, Black Panther, Wakandan spy Nanali, and Howling Commandos member Gabriel Jones.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game promises photorealistic visuals and a cinematic experience, aiming to appeal to both players and spectators.
No gameplay footage has been revealed yet, but the game is described as a third-person action-adventure with elements of stealth and combat.
