  • Maruti Suzuki announced the Fronx crossed 5 lakh cumulative production, achieved 28 months after output began in March 2023.
  • Production milestones came in quick succession: 1 lakh by December 2023, 2 lakh by June 2024, 3 lakh by November 2024, and 4 lakh by February 2025 before topping 5 lakh in July 2025.
  • The model ranked among India’s top 10 sellers in FY 2024–25, with a monthly peak of over 21,400 units in February 2025.
  • Around 20% of units are exported, with shipments to Japan, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, including the first Made‑in‑India Maruti Suzuki SUV exported to Japan.
  • The Fronx is offered with 1.2‑litre petrol and 1.0‑litre turbo‑petrol engines and multiple manual and automatic transmission choices, supported by features such as a 9‑inch infotainment system, head‑up display, and 360‑degree camera.
