Overview
- Episode 3 of Bauer sucht Frau International delivered the season’s first formal choice when Jakob chose to concentrate on one Hofdame and sent Linda home after a drinking‑game exchange raised questions about dating multiple people, and the show also recorded its first chaste on‑screen kiss.
- The same evening RTL aired a preview of the national series Bauer sucht Frau – Die neuen Bauern that presented 18 new farmers and farmers’ daughters, including Tobias Pankow who previously appeared on Das Sommerhaus der Stars.
- RTL reported strong linear audiences for both broadcasts with about 1.48 million viewers for the national preview and roughly two million for the International episode, while RTL+ continues to make episodes available about a week before their TV airings.
- Social media amplified small production details and contestant moments, with viewers mocking Jakob’s improvised checked dish towel as a tablecloth and debating on‑screen behaviour and contestant backstories.
- The franchise remains mid‑cycle with International episodes scheduled through June 9 and the full national season slated for autumn, a rollout that uses early streaming, cross‑format casting and on‑air decisions to keep audience attention.
