Marta Signs Two-Year Extension with Orlando Pride After Historic Season

The 38-year-old Brazilian soccer legend will remain with the NWSL champions through the 2026 season, continuing her legacy as club captain and key player.

Marta, widely regarded as one of the greatest women's soccer players, has extended her contract with the Orlando Pride for two more years.
The 2024 season marked a historic milestone for the Pride, as Marta led the team to its first-ever NWSL championship and NWSL Shield title.
Marta scored 11 goals in the 2024 season, including a decisive semifinal goal, and was named to the NWSL Best XI First Team and FIFPRO Women’s World XI.
Since joining the Pride in 2017, Marta has made 128 appearances, scored 42 goals, and holds the club record for most assists, with 19.
At 39 years old, Marta remains a vital presence for the Pride, both on and off the field, praised for her leadership and contributions to the Orlando community.
