Marshall Garrett Arrested Following Fatal Dog Mauling and Previous Murder Charge

Marshall Garrett, 38, has been charged with three felony counts of criminal negligence after his dogs fatally mauled his neighbor, Harriette Phillips, on March 23, 2025.
Garrett was arrested on April 15, 2025, and is also facing a murder charge for the 2024 fatal assault of 69-year-old Alton Martin.
Court documents and surveillance footage confirm that Garrett’s dogs broke through a shared fence and attacked Phillips in her backyard, leading to her death.
