Marsha Warfield reprised her role as Roz in the season 2 premiere of the 'Night Court' revival, with her character now engaged to a woman.
Warfield, who came out in 2017, believes the original series, which aired until 1992, would not have allowed Roz to be openly gay.
The actress expressed her comfort and familiarity in working with John Larroquette again, the only other original cast member in the revival.
Warfield praised the new bailiff character played by Lacretta, encouraging her to make the role her own.
While Warfield is open to returning to the series, she stated that the decision is not hers to make.
