Overview
- Marriott International signed an agreement with owner Frasers Hospitality on Oct 29, 2025 to convert the InterContinental Singapore in Bugis to The Luxury Collection.
- IHG’s management of the hotel will conclude on Dec 31, 2025 upon the contract’s expiry, with Marriott assuming operation in January 2026.
- The property will join the Marriott Bonvoy programme and become the brand’s second Luxury Collection hotel in Singapore and the first in the city centre.
- Planned facilities include 406 guestrooms and suites, six dining and social venues, a fitness centre, an outdoor pool, and about 1,000 sq m of event space with a 540 sq m ballroom.
- The hotel is located within the Bugis Junction mixed-use development in the Bras Basah–Bugis district with direct access to Bugis MRT and proximity to Kampong Glam and Arab Street.
