Marlins Set to Hire Gabe Kapler as Assistant General Manager

Former Giants Manager to Join Miami's Front Office Under New President of Baseball Operations Peter Bendix

Gabe Kapler, former San Francisco Giants manager, is set to be hired as an assistant general manager for the Miami Marlins.
Kapler was fired by the Giants after the team failed to make the playoffs for a second consecutive year.
During his tenure with the Giants, Kapler had a 295-248 record, with his only winning season in 2021.
Once hired, Kapler will join Brian Chattin, Daniel Greenlee, and Oz Ocampo as assistant general managers under new president of baseball operations Peter Bendix.
The Marlins also claimed right-hander Kaleb Ort off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.
