Mark Knopfler Announces Star-Studded Charity Single for Teenage Cancer Trust

Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits frontman, is set to release a charity single featuring nearly 60 top artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck.
The 9-minute track, a re-recording of Knopfler's 1983 'Going Home: Theme of the Local Hero,' aims to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America.
The single, produced by former Dire Straits keyboardist Guy Fletcher, includes the final recording by Jeff Beck and contributions from a wide array of guitar legends.
Pre-orders for the vinyl and BluRay editions of the single have already sold out, with a live auction of signed guitars to further support the charities.
The song, which has become a staple at Newcastle United F.C. games, will be officially released on March 15.
