Mark Goddard, 'Lost In Space' star, dies at 87 of lung disease

Mark Goddard, known for playing Major Don West on Lost In Space, died at age 87 from pulmonary fibrosis.
Goddard's wife announced his passing on social media and said he was under hospice care when he died.
His Lost In Space co-star Bill Mumy shared memories of their time together and their last phone call.
In addition to Lost In Space, Goddard had roles in other classic TV shows as well as films.
After acting, Goddard became a special education teacher and wrote a memoir about his life and career.
